September News

As we waved goodbye to our school leavers we said a warm hello to new children starting their Monkey Puzzle journey.

Blue Monkeys have had lots of new arrivals! Our youngest children have settled well and are enjoying exploring their new environment and exciting new toys. They have especially liked to delve into the treasure basket which includes lots of interesting and natural objects for them to touch, taste, shake, squeeze, and rattle.

Blue Monkeys have been building relationships with their Key Person to help them with their transition from home to nursery and we have found this to be very successful! A child’s Key Person knows their development the best and is the ‘go to’ person for the parents with any questions or queries regarding their child’s care.

During September, many of the children who already attend the nursery have transitioned into a new room. In Pink Monkeys, the new children have been exploring their own outside area and enjoying the new found freedom of sitting at a table and chair for their meals.

In Red Monkeys, the children have been taking part in a more structured Circle Time and enjoying their new sport class ‘Super Sport’.
