January News

2015 started with a busy first week back, all the children were excited to see their friends and carers and tell of their different holiday adventures.

During January we have celebrated Australia day where the children handled boomerangs and didgeridoos, listened to didgeridoo music and used their finger tips to paint their own aboriginal artworks.

They were also served vegemite and lamingtons. Pink Monkeys have been reading the story ‘Barry The Fish with Fingers’ and went on to make their own story. Red Monkeys have explored the area of transport and made their own boats and kites… which were amazing!
