Seasons changing always brings opportunities for amazing teaching and learning. October has been a wonderfully colourful month with Autumnal walks to both the local conservation area and park and Halloween powered through the nursery with force.
The spooky menu was exciting and varied with mummified sausages, witches fingers, Hubble bubble pumpkin broth, ghost bananas, bone biscuits to name just a few.
The children delved into pumpkin goo and spider slime and created some bright and original art work which now proudly decorates the nursery. The week was finished off with a lively Halloween ‘dress up’ party.
