April has been another festivity filled month as we celebrate Easter, St Georges Day, and our Queens birthday when we made cards, presents, flags and crowns.
Our babies in Blue Monkeys have been exploring transport play. They have explored through bubble wrap roads as well as making marks in paint by driving cars all the way through it! We have also enjoyed singing lots of transport songs.
Pink Monkeys have been extending their learning around colour recognition and colour mixing. There has been some colorful ice cube play which as it melts makes interesting marks to capture young imaginations.
Red Monkeys have turned their home corner into a school classroom, complete with visuals , school uniform dress-up and a class register! The children have really enjoyed the pretend play ‘going to school’ and it has spurred lots of language and conversation.
