December 2019 News December did not disappoint!!!! What an outstanding way to end the year. December is always festive and a bustle of busyness…we visited the local synagogue for Chanukah, walked to St Albans Cathedral where our children were able to lay their Christingles and look at the nativity scene. We had an amazing Christmas party with games. Songs were heard throughout the rooms as children and their parents/carers sang and best of all Santa visited all our children. Over the Christmas countdown we wore Christmas jumpers, Christmas pyjamas, Christmas socks, earrings, leggings and tinsel in our hair. We also explored the traditional side of Christmas with our first Nativity Day. Dean our nursery chef used the power of food to allow our children to experience different Christmas flavours every day… And on top of all that Ofsted decided to pay us a visit…. The Ofsted visit was a full nursery inspection on our ‘Christmas Dinner Day’. The inspection lasted 10 hours and looked at every aspect of the nursery. It was a truly unique experience and ended with an outstanding outcome! Our Ofsted report can be read in its entirety on either the Oftsed website or on the curriculum page of our website.
