November is one of the busiest months of the year at Monkey Puzzle St Albans. We teach and explore with the children about Remembrance Sunday, Guy Fawkes night, Halloween, Diwali, St Andrews Day and raise money for Children In Need. This year the activities planned have been exciting, bright, fun and imaginative with our oldest children creating beautiful red poppies and our youngest exploring red and black paper for Remembrance Sunday. Illuminous, glittery paint has been splatted, sponged and blown into amazing shapes and patterns and the children have used clay to make their own candle holders that they decorated and took home to share.
Our fantastic chef has made each celebration come alive for the children by cooking special menus including home made curry and samosas, spooky food for Halloween and supported all the children’s spotty cake sale for Children In Need.
This year for children In Need the children baked biscuits all week and dressed up in spots from head to toe! and raised a whopping £300!
