What a busy month this has been, Remember, Remember the 5th of November! The whole nursery have been busy creating lots of firework and bonfire pictures as well as pictures and activities for Diwali! We also created our own turkeys and discussed what foods we would eat with our Thanksgiving dinners and created lots of artwork for children in need! With the arrival of our new resources all the children have enjoyed discovering new aspects of their new resources and showing their peers and carers! Bumblebees have had a very creative November, we stuck colourful firework photos to the bottom of a tufty tray and covered them with black coloured oats (the night sky) and with encouragement we developed our fine motor skills to uncover the bright pictures! Bumblebees have excitedly been exploring lots of water play this month, with differing temperatures and bubbles we have enjoyed finding out what happens watching the ice melt and the bubbles getting bigger as you swish your hands side to side! Ladybirds have thoroughly enjoyed the return of Ryan and Supernastics! All children have had lots of fun developing their physical skills through balancing, jumping and hopping! Ladybirds have also excitedly re-introduced going for walks! They have managed to go and visit the train station waving as trains go by and gone for walks down the alban way, who knows where their next adventure will take them?! Butterflies have been on a journey of finding their Zen, with the introduction of Yoga mites the children have thoroughly enjoyed practicing their flamingo poses, breathing exercise, and having calm time throughout the session! They also created treasure maps to secret mission locations within the garden and roleplayed different professions and what they think they do to help us and our communities! Ladybirds had lots of fun roleplaying police officers watching CCTV, doctors checking heart beats, teachers reading stories and builders building houses!November News
