St Albans Day Nursery, Preschool & Childcare

At Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries, we believe in being open, honest, and transparent about our nursery fees, so you always know what to expect. We understand how important it is for families to feel confident when choosing childcare, which is why we provide clear, simple information with no hidden costs or confusing wording. You’ll find everything set out in a straightforward way, making it easier to plan ahead and feel fully informed every step of the way.

Our expert team is dedicated to excellence in Early Years education, and their passion shines through every day. Friendly, empathetic, and creative, they care for each child as if they were their own. This commitment is reflected in everything we do at the nursery. We also take pride in our diverse team, many of whom speak additional languages such as French, Greek, Korean, and Spanish, which are used daily to support bilingual children and help them feel confident, settled, and included in all aspects of nursery life.

Monkey Puzzle St Albans provides a nurturing space where your child can play, learn, and grow. Our nursery is designed to feel like a home from home, with well-resourced, enriching learning and play areas. Each age group has its own garden, giving children the freedom to explore outdoors and let their imaginations run wild. We also connect with the wider local community, using it as an extended learning environment to help children become socially aware, confident, and well-rounded.

At Monkey Puzzle St Albans, we take a holistic approach to learning, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Our team inspires through excellence in Early Years education, placing each child’s development and individual needs at the heart of everything we do. Nursery and preschool are times when children learn as much about themselves as they do about the world around them. Through the magic of play and curiosity-driven activities, we nurture their minds, bodies, and love of learning.
